DESCRIPTION:
.flower.book pages.paint.

INSPIRATION:
I got a free book from the library {they always have a stack of books on a rack for free} and decided to make some flowers. Then I grabbed some thick tissue paper and tried making a big one {each pedal was 10×10 inches} and then brushed paint over it for detail.

DESCRIPTION:

.business cards.homemade.paper.sewing machine.

INSPIRATION:

I am going to sell some of my photos at Buffalo Exchange and I wanted to have nice business cards unlike my old ones. I figured the best way to leave a mark is to be unique and make them myself.

The first thing I did was open a photoshop window with the size 3.25 by 1.75, and typed my website and drew a box around it:

Then I printed that with windows viewer in business card size {on a brownish cardstock paper}

Then I choose my paper for the background:

Then I cut the papers to the correct size {I didn’t measure, just cut what I thought would look good}

Then I cut slits in the background paper with an exacto nife

Then I put the papers together and sewed it with my machine in a zigzag pattern {and instead of backing up the stitch, I tied 2 knots on the back of each end}

And the back of the card has a white area where I can write my phone number, email, or whatever info I would need to:

And tadaaaa :]

Let me know if you have questions about making something like this :]
