Hello :)
This is one of my favorite projects that I’ve done. I always wondered what would be a perfect diy gift for a bridal shower or engagement party and somehow after being inspired from many directions I came up with this Date Box. This is simple, it’s a box filled with fun, silly, cheesy, and romantic date ideas. It is the perfect mix of a silly + cute + useful gift for newlyweds. The fun thing is that you can make it for all your friends that are getting married by simply personalizing the box to match them! This is one I made for my friend Abigail, she vintage, lace, key details, so I put that all together into this box. I used photoshop to make the date ideas collage and then cut it with the help of a cutter I got from my mom. Feel free to use the templates, click on them to see them bigger and then Save the image :)

INSPIRATION:
My friend’s babyshower is coming up in July so me and Vanessa went to the fabric store to look around and I found this cute baby whale fabric {that is SUPER soft} and decided to get it before knowing what I would do with it. Vanessa gave me the idea to make a blanket and that’s what I did first, then I had extra fabric so I made the square pillow and with the rest of the fabric I made the round pillow. Then I had that square left over and I decided to make a picture frame in the blanket for the mami & baby. :] I also had enough fabric left to make the heart and then I hand sewed the frame and heart on as the details. I’m excited how it turned out and it’s hard to believe it was only 1 yard of fabric {of each fabric}.

INSPIRATION:
I’ve always wanted to send a message in a bottle! I have written a message, made a bracelet, decorated the bottle and put it in. I have decided to make it a fun game and see how many people would play along.. Mission -> send a message and a gift in the bottle you received it. {We’ll see how many people will get involved}.
Message:
“Dear You Lucky Person You,
I bet you are surprised and a bit excited to find a note in a bottle, right? I thought so. I’ve always wanted to leave a note in a bottle and I finally did it, crossing that off my bucket list. As you might have noticed, there’s a little gift in this bottle, not your ordinary message in bottle now is it? So you want to know what this gift is about? Well I figured someone might enjoy it. Simple as that. So now I have a mission for YOU! Yes you! :)
Take this bottle and write your own message {it can be a poem, a inspirational quote, a joke, a drawing, something that will brighten someones day} and put a gift inside it {make it or buy it find a treasure you own}. Throw it as far as you can in the ocean and watch the waves take it away and lets make this a fun & encouraging chain of messages.
