day 37 ~ old new bookstore

INSPIRATION:
Today I had such a fun adventure with Kim!
One thing led to another, once ‘coincidence’ after another that lead us to this place.
Let me start with yesterday; I was looking for a new bible {I wanted a King James version} and I found one that has Hebrew and Greek words in it and knew that was the one I wanted to get. Unfortunately it was a bit pricey so I put it back and decided to go home and think about it. At home I found a gift card to Family Christian Stores and got excited. Today {Sunday} Kim came over after church because I was giving her some of our bags to donate for a cancer foundation, and then Kim decided to come with me to this christian store. So we head to Whittier, go to the store, find the bible but in the wrong version so we order it. Then we wanted to go eat. Where oh where to eat?
“lets eat somewhere we never been before”
So we head off driving and decide to go to the old downtown in Whittier. There we find a restaurant that we wanted to eat at but decide to look some more. THEN we discover this book store {old books} and were so intrigued by it, we just HAD to go in. As we walk in Kim and I fall in love with this cute broken down book store. As we talk to the owners we find out they just bought it 2 days ago and are planning on redoing it. We get so inspired by the whole story that we volunteer to help out in whatever way we can! SOOO the cool guy that he was, Keenan said he will pay us in BOOKS! WOW. How exciting! :)
So we get excited {tomorrow we’re going to help design valentine day box for books}.
Downstairs they had a HUGE sale, all hardcover books for 1$ and paperback for 50cents! So I find these 7 books {not to mention they are in such great condition} and get them for 7$ total! wow.

BOOKS! It’s weird that I’m excited?
oh well, I see it as a new adventure :)
