This month I got an idea to do a Christmas giveaway (coming soon) and that idea slowly turned into reality. I told my plan to a few Etsy crafters and they loved it and joined in the giveaway by donating a few items. So I had the plan & now the items … next I needed a model so we can do a photoshoot and promote the giveaway! I thought and thought who would be perfect for this and decided to go with Naomi Imbre (I asked her and she was delighted to do it).
Yesterday we went out and took some photos {I wish we went eariler because we only got an hour of sunlight} and I’ve been editing them since. So without further ado here they are:

I was happily surprised when Joey asked me to do a photoshoot for him. I met Joey a little more than a year ago when Ema, one of my closest friends, started dating him. I was happy to see their relationship grow and later being part of their wedding :]

INSPIRATION:
Have you girls ever heard of Ruche? It’s a beautiful online shop filled with accessories, clothes, things for the home and much more. Recently I got to shoot some of their products and I had a blast. They are so beautiful and girly and I am very thankful for getting the chance to shoot them. :]

INSPIRATION:
Last week’s vbs {vacation bible study} the older kids told me they are tired of drawing or coloring and they want a fun project. The craft book said to do journals this week but when I mentioned it to the kids they didn’t want to do it except for maybe 1 or 2 girls haha. SO As the message goes it tires to compare how the bible recorded stories that happened during that time and now we can record in our journals what happens.. but I will say we can record with photos stories. SO I created photobooth props! I made a set and they will trace their favorite and cut it themselves out of foam paper, and they can add details with feathers or glitter and etc then we’ll help them put it on a stick. The younger kids will just have the masks with elastic and they will color and draw on them, the middle ages will get to cut out their shapes and the older kids will cut and glitter and feather their masks / mustaches / glasses / etc. :]
Then I shall take photos for them with a fabric background or a whiteboard that we’ll decorate. It shall be fun!

Earlier this month I did a free photoshoot for Emmeline & Allyna at the Hunington Library. Here are 25 photos of Allyna {there were a couple hundred photos total!}
Allyna and I met a few years ago at church and she’s a great friend :]
She has a big heart for God and amazing passion and an encouraging spirit. :]

Earlier this month I did a free photoshoot for Emmeline & Allyna at the Hunington Library. Here are 25 photos of Emmeline {there were a couple hundred photos total!}
Emmeline is a sweetheart! I was always inspired by her kindness and passion for God. She is also a very talented musician playing multiple instruments and has a beautiful voice {many people had her preform at their weddings}. Love you Emmeline!! :]]

A friend of mine had a collection of old jewelry and she wanted me to photograph them so she can sell them. This was really fun for me and it was the first time I really used my macro lens. :]
