hello little ladies and gentleman,
As some of you know I’m working on opening a clothing & accessory company called Grâce Belle and it’s slowly coming together. I am going to get professional training at FIDM for the next 2 years and hopefully not to long after that I will launch this company. It’s been exciting putting together the business plan and inspirations and seeing it all come together. Due to this planning and other things in my life, Creative Balorina will not be updated as frequently. I will still come when I have free time and put up a few posts but I do want to put my focus on this company since it will be my career.
I put together a collage of inspirations that you can use as a desktop background, just click on it to see it bigger and save it :)

Thank you so much my CreativeBalorina fans, it’s been an honor posting for you :)
Hope to see you on my new journey !
Hello lovlies :)
I’m excited to share this news with you! I am working on making this business a full time career! It’s exciting for me and scary as well but if I continue to do what I love and share it with the world maybe people will love what I do ;)
I’ve been thinking and decided that each month I want to come out with a new line of something, March was our reversible backpacks (which was a great adventure in itself). My goal for this year is to build my inventory as much as I can so that next year I can be in craft shows. This is my first big and do-able goal and it makes me excited just thinking about it. I’ve also been thinking of a long term goal and although that seems like a harder one to achieve I’ve seen what my shop has become and grown in this short time that I have hope in this goal as well. My long term goal is *pause for drum roll* to open a shop in 5 years. *gasp* I know, I know, it’s a huge goal but I can’t stop thinking about this and I want to do everything I can in 5 years to learn how to run a proper business and to gather my resources and plans. *daydream*
Ok Ok back to the present. There are so many things I look to for inspirations for colors, shapes, materials, textures, needs & uses and so on and from now on I’ll have an inspiration board to share with you as well. I want you to be able to see the process it takes to create each item, it’s a long and thoughtful process filled with love, creativity, excitement, and hard work and we believe this is what makes handmade items so special. So come with us on this adventure and let us know what inspires you :)
Take a look at the inspiration page for April, you can click on it to see it bigger as well :)

P.s. This month I’ve been working on bracelets with wire words like the ones in our giveaway. We are taking custom orders on these bracelets for a limited time only (until the end of May) so contact us with your request! All bracelets will be $15 !
I just created a new necklace which will be a one of a kind item as well :)
It reminds me of a hot air balloon but in a more delicate way.
Find it in the shop here.

So many new things this month! First we released our first line of Reversible Backpacks on March 1st and had our first major photoshoot and now we have our first lookbook! :)
If you want to view the photos individually go to our facebook page!
And here are our Reversible Backpack Tutorials;
How to Reverse your backpack
How to Tie your backpack
Wow the photoshoot today went great!
It was perfect weather, had lovely models + a great photographer. We started taking photos a Vila de Sol in Fullerton and then walked around downtown Fullerton with all the backpacks and balloons while taking photos.
We had two tables and set them up with the backpacks & accessories so the models can choose which to take photos with and get bling’ed up as well ;)

Purty right? I loved to see everything together and seeing the models match the items with their outfits!
Speaking of here are our amazing models; in order from the top and left to right; top is me, then Ruth Dusca, Vanessa Dominguez, Ramona Repede, Rachel Lucaci, Jessica Petean, Abigail Gutierrez, Michelle Petean, Katie Horton, Naomi Imbre, Naomi Talpos, and Danae Pera. Thank you so much for coming today ladies!!

And our amazing & super talented photographer was Sammy Cosa from Closer To Love Photography. I’ve always looked up to Closer to Love photography which is a husband & wife team! They are not only talented photographers and great people overall but they also inspire me because they always keep God first in their career and everywhere else. Following their blog, from the beginning, I was able to see how God took their business and grew it so much bigger! We did an interview with them back in September, go take a look if you want to find out more about them - here it is.

We will post the photos up on Tuesday here and on the Creative Balorina Facebook and we will put the backpacks in the shop March 1st @10am! Each backpack was made one of a kind (none exactly the same) so come early to pick out your favorite! :)
Oh and before I end today’s post I must show you some behind the scenes ;)
These are animations so you might have to let them load first and then check them out.

We’ll have a behind the scenes video on Tuesday as well as the photos. So far, do you like it? Would you want to join us in our next big shoot?? :)
We’ve been showing you on facebook sneak-peaks of our Reversible Backpacks and it’s time I share with you the story behind them.
Once upon a time there was a girl who got tired of “babysitting” her purse while going on adventures. She always had to be careful not to drop it or lose something from it. She didn’t like holding her purse constantly and instead wanted to run freely without worry while her stuff were secure. Then this girl talked to her mom and together they designed the first Reversible Backpack. She loved how she could toss it on her back and take it to Disneyland and adventures but what she loved most was the many compliments from friends and even strangers. Then after many people asked her where she bought the backpack an idea went off; she and her mom could make more and sell them! After making 8 of them and selling them, way under-priced, and getting very busy with school the business died down slowly. Then a few years later something happened, she finished school and couldn’t get a job and nervous, scared, and excited she and her mom launched Creative Balorina full time where she would focus on making those Reversible Backpacks again and many more unique purses. She put together a business plan to make sure the business would last and thought of a fun idea; to make each item unique and one of a kind!
And here we are, a month later with 20+ backpacks and a few accessories. This Saturday we are doing a photoshoot to start things off and show the new items. The photographers are my favorite ever; Closer To Love Photography who are very talented, inspiring, and great friends. We also have over 15 volunteers to model the backpacks! So it’s going to be a fun day with great accomplishment for our team.
